Future Aspiration

Today at 9:30am we had some people coming to our school to share their with us their past and to give the year 8 and 7 an idea to think of our future. The host of the show was Andrew Patterson. Pauler inspired me the most. There was also Mr Samules, He used to be an actor in the show "what now". I am still thinking of what I want to be in the future.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

I was getting angry at my alarm buzzing, knowing Pt England School was going to attend the Manaiakalani film festival last Wednesday. We went to in the bus to Sylvia Park hoyts cinemas. I forced my self up and rapidly had a shower. I brushed my teeth and madly went to school to meet my friends.

Our schedule was marked at 11:30, and the junior school was going at 8:50. as I got to school I went to the courts to meet my friends. They were playing football. I did not join the game because the the school bell just went and we had to head off to class. As we got to class we were told to sit in the streets. In the streets we were told what time the film festival.

After morning tea finished, we had to madly get to class because the bus arrived. As Miss Clark got to class we walked to the buses waiting for us. I was rushing to get to the back of the bus with my friends. I sat with Som Sat.

When we arrived at Sylvia park we had got off the bus and started heading off to the hoyts cinemas. My favorite movie was the class 1s because they had great actors. We went with Somerville special school.  We got to watch some of their movies that they made.

As soon as it finished we all walked down to the bus stop and waited for the bus. As soon as the bus came we moved a little back to the footpath. Our class got into a bus and quickly spotted an empty seat. I sat with Faaiua, Byron and Paris. We arrived school before lunch time.

6 Hats Current Events

Writing W3

On Tuesday the first day of week 3 the year 8s went to camp but I didn't go. I don't like camp so I ended up staying with Mosa and the year 7s. On Monday there was no school due to labor day. On Tuesday all the year 8s who didn't go to camp got split up in to 2s. I was in class 13 with miss Nalder. It was great to have her. My buddy was Mosa. All the year 7s went to the museum.

This week is testing week. I had my reading test with miss Reid. I had one Yesterday and one  today. I am very lucky to pass my reading test. Later on next week all the year 8s  should be doing maths and reading test because all the year 8s are gone to camp. Next week all the year 6s are going camp.

Mrs Clark and a few other teachers went to camp with the year 8s.

Holiday Recount

I came to a halt till it was dark… what a nocturnal creature I am turning into watching movies all night and sleeping all day. I watched the movies in my room on the tv by myself because I was feeling antisocial. I don’t like watching movies in the morning for the reason that the sun is extremely bright and this much light doesn't reflect on the tv screen. I ended up watching movies because I was so tired of sleeping. My favorite movie out of all was the wolf of wall street.

The next day I was forcing myself to go to bed. I woke up and quickly had a shower and got changed. I got my phone and wallet and just saw my sister text me saying “hurry up”.  As soon as I got into the lounge I saw my sister waiting for me. I rushed outside to the car waiting my dad to drop me off to sylvia park. My dad dropped off at sylvia park, me and my sisters went  off and we walked patiently to the movies hoping that there was not a big queue by the counters. I thought the movie “ The maze runner” was a great movie and it was definitely a 10/10. We then walked to the sylvia park train station.
