We want to find out does it work and see what rope is better and how can you hear it very well.

It might not work. It might be a big hole and we can’t start again.

(Step by step)

First we got our pins and made a hole on the bottom of the cups. Then we got the 2 wooden pieces and tied it to the string. After that we tested it out.         

Results:

What actually happened?

It worked and it translated our voices but we have to pull the string. The best string was the cotton string. The reason why is was good is because with the other strings  when we pulled it we only could hear each other not good.

Conclusions:

What did we learn?

We learnt that our sound, goes to the bottom of the cup and travels to the other cup. The shorter the string the better you can hear and if you have a longer string the less you can hear.
