Sound

For inquiry this term we are studying ‘sound’ . Sound is vibration. Vibration is all around us. Vibration/Sound Is important to us, it helps us wake up in the morning. Vibration can warn us of danger. It can entertain us. But where does it come from? Also how do we hear it?

High pitch sound can become harmful. Some sound have so much energy that they can hurt your ear. How fast can sound travel? Sound can travel 330 metres per second. That is not faster than light. Light can travel 300 million metres per second. low pitch sound waves are more apart to each other. High pitch sound wave are more closer to each other.

In space there is no air, so there is no sound. Sound would be hard to live without. imagine life without sound. Do you know dogs can hear more than humans.
